Dimensions is the title of Etana’s EP which will be released on November 8 by her Freemind Music label and Zojak World Wide. Its lead song is Rock My Body.

The mini set is the follow-up to Reggae Forever, her 2018 album that earned a Grammy nomination this year for Best Reggae Album.

According to Etana, “The EP has love songs, message songs and touches a little bit on marijuana. It’s called Dimensions for a reason, it’s a collection of moods. There are so many sides to me musically and I wanted to share some more.”

Like Reggae Forever, Dimensions was recorded live. In addition to the soulful Rock My Body, it contains the one drop-esque Long Draw and Love Is Us which has a ‘90’s R&B vibe. There are two versions of One More Time, which feature Beenie Man and singer Pressure Buss Pipe of the US Virgin Islands.

“I want to thank Clive Hunt, Patrice Bart-Williams, Dean Pond, Carl James, Jerome Campbell, David Sprecher, Andre Morris, Khambrel McPherson, Dean Fraser, Adrian Minott, Zoe Espitia, Aaron Mahlfeldt and all the musicians, engineers and graphic artistes who assisted in putting this EP together,” said Etana.

Etana has been one of reggae’s leading artists since 2007 when her song, Wrong Address, became a runaway hit in Jamaica and Diaspora charts in the United States.

The following year saw the release of The Strong One, her debut album. Her subsequent albums include Free Expressions in 2011, Better Tomorrow (2013), and I Rise which came out in 2014.
