ETANA is the most successful Jamaican female artiste on the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart. She earns her sixth title with Dimensions, an eightsong EP which debuts this week at number seven.
Dimensions features collaborations with Beenie Man and United States Virgin Islands singer Pressure Busspipe. The set’s lead single is the radio hit, Rock My Body.
Etana previously charted with the Grammy-nominated Reggae Forever (number one in 2018), I Rise (number one in 2014), Better Tomorrow (number nine in 2013), Free Expressions (number 11 in 2011) and The Strong One (number 12 in 2008).
New at number two this week is 20 Year Anniversary Timeless by Haiwaiian band Ekolu. Released November 8 by Waiehu Records, the set has 20 tracks and is the second entry for Ekolu, a trio that debuted at number one last year with Ekolu Music 3: Forever Hawaii.
Rebel With A Cause by Pressure Busspipe enters at number four, selling 140 copies in its first week.
The album was released November 8 by I Grade Records out of St Croix and has 14 tracks, including collaborations with Anthony B, Akae Beka, Kabaka Pyramid, Protoje, R City, Sizzla and Jah9. Pressure Busspipe previously charted at number eight in 2016 with Red Rose.
After 11 weeks, the set has sold 15,276 copies. Ways of The World by The Movement rises to number three with 170 copies, for sales of 4,496, while Dreamer by Hirie is number five.
Slipping from number two to six is Sobrevolando by Culture Profetica, while Undercover by Kash’d Out drops one spot to number eight.
Re-entering the chart at number nine is Free Rein by Rebelution, while Busy Signal’s Parts of The Puzzle completes the Top 10.
