In 2017 G Cole took a break from the stage to pursue another passion, “Podcasting”. He developed the podcast “Homegrown With G Cole” a platform used to communicate with the community and the lovers of Reggae culture. This platform has afforded him the opportunity to enjoy dialog with some of his musical inspirations, such as Freddie McGregor, Marcia Griffiths, Bobby Digital Dixon, VP Records Co Founder Mrs Pat Chin, Nadine Sutherland and many more and is available on Itunes, Spotify, TuneIn, IHeartRadio and more.

It is 2019 and G Cole is urged by Producer and fellow Music lover Donald Clive Davidson of Aqua-Gem Records to not only multitask and return to being a Recording Artist, but to do something very different, a first for him, a cover. The result  is “What Love Is”, a remake of a Nicky Thomas classic, originally recorded as “Love Is” by Ben E King. It is a fun, upbeat, modern interpretation that still emotes nostalgia from start to finish. It has also become the first single from G Cole’s upcoming project.
