After a 14-year break, a date has been set for Reggae Sunsplash.

First staged in June 1978, Reggae Sunsplash 2020 will make its return in nine months. Running over three days, the rebirth of the festival will commence on November 6 to 8, at the Grizzly’s Plantation Cove in Priory, St. Ann. The lineup has not yet been revealed.

Reggae Sunsplash has been known to showcase traditional reggae artists such as Bob Marley who performed at the second staging in 1979.

The final event was held in 1998, before it was revived in 2006, then discontinued.
