Stay Positive with its melodic bass-line and energetic drum rhythms is a meditation for the nation and the world at large to be positive in these turbulent times. “Rastaman stay with the positive- don’t get mislead, don’t bother stray with the negative – we have done a lot to overcome yet Babylon tag along giving the youth alcohol with sex and gun…’ Iba’s vocal delivery and unique sound produces a powerful message. Stay Positive is sure to resonate in the hearts and minds of listeners who seek hopefulness in these times of uncertainty.

This release seems so fitting for the times” dotes Iba Mahr when asked about the new single, “As we are plagued by a world-wide pandemic, it’s especially important for us to stay rooted spiritually, mentally and physically… we must stay positive –“ May is mental health awareness month and our mental health is an important aspect of our overall well-being.
As an artiste, Iba Mahr is committed to community development and nation building. He is observing the effects of the current pandemic but he is putting plans in place to host this years’ staging of Sound Di Alarm an annual event held on New Years’ Eve to raise funds for the Linstead Hospital in Jamaica W.I., a place that is very special to him. “With our nations’ health care workers risking their lives on the frontline, we have become even more aware of their importance to our daily lives”,
The ‘Diamond Sox’ hit maker has an impressive catalog of songs and is currently working on a new album. Iba Mahr is committed to “staying positive” as he continues to inspire listeners on his musical journey.
