Sheri Snyder is a Vocalist, Writer, Arranger and Producer located in New York City. Having recorded with Don Davidson, Dennis Chambers, Don Blackman, Marcus Miller, Weldon Irvine, T.M. Stevens, Eddie Martinez, Bernard Wright and Loris Holland, entertainment comes easy for her.Snyder’s love for music began at a young age. In 1977, she graduated from Music and Art High School.Snyder decided to further her career in music and was featured on Keyboardist Bernard Wright’s Album Nard. She sang background vocals on the song entitled “Haboglabotribin.” After which, she was featured on Don Blackman’s 1982 album, Blackman where she sang lead vocal parts on “Hearts Desire”and “Never Miss a Thing” and background on “Since You’ve Been Away So Long,” “Deaf Hookup Connection,” “Let Your Conscience Be Your Guide,” “You Ain’t Hip and Yabba Dabba Doo.”

In 1997 Snyder went on to sing background for Silver Don’s “ When God Created the Woman.” From there she was featured again on Don Blackman’s album entitled Listen in 2002 where she sang background vocals on the songs “Watch Your Heart” and “Ghetto Lament.” Immediately following that she wrote and sang lead vocals on her Gospel album entitled Joy.

In 2006, she was featured on Zack Roberson’s album entitled, Revolution. She sang background vocals on the songs “I’ll Be There,” “Praise God,” “Run toHim,” “Revolution” and “Clap Your Hands.” In addition to recording on the vast array of aforementioned albums, Snyder has shared the stage with Ann Nesby, Third World, Mighty Clouds of Joy, Aaron Neville,Melissa Morgan, Gladys Knight, Silk, Dru Hill, Dennis Edwards, Jeffrey Osborne and Johnny Gill and performed with Freddie Jackson, Najee, BJ Nelson, Talking Dreads, Tom Browne and Anthony B.

In 2012, Snyder threw her hat in another ring and worked as a correspondent on Ayana Productions an Online News and Entertainment series. There she covered several red carpet events such as the WorkLife Matters Gala, the United Cerebral Palsy Women Who Care Luncheon and the American Beatboxer Premiere.To date Snyder’s latest work includes a web series she co-wrote and produced entitled, Media Alert and singing lead and background on covers produced by Don Davidson entitled, “I’ll Take You There”originally performed by the Staples Singers, “Love Ain’t Easy” originally performed by Barry White and“I’ll Be Around” originally performed by The Spinners.
