The Choice Riddim is the latest production from Ambassador Of Choice (AOC) Records. It contains eight songs by established and emerging acts.

Collin Johnson, principal of the Negril, Jamaica-based company, said the mix of ‘brand’ artists like Beenie Man, Terrie Ganzie and Intence with Java and Mojo Herb, is deliberate.

“They bring good vibes to the Choice Riddim. I consider it a party riddim because it mix with reggae and dancehall,” he said.

Money Language is Beenie Man’s song on the catchy beat; Terrie Ganzie contributes the timely Black Life Matter; and Intence does Strength.

Java’s song is Judas while Mojo Herb, who is signed to AOC Records, does Mama.

The Choice Riddim is the third production from AOC Records which was launched two years ago. It was preceded by Black Woman and Drone.

Johnson said he had personal input in selection of the acts including Beenie Man and the high-riding Intence who broke through last year with the hit single, Go Hard. He added that his company’s ultimate goal is exposing, and breaking, artists from his hometown of Negril.
