Initially premiering on Tuff Gong Television as the highlight to a full day of celebrations commemorating Bob Marley‘s 76th earthstrong on February 6th, the “Survival 76 Cypher (featuring Skip Marley, Tifa, Agent Sasco, Tanya Stephens, Kabaka Pyramid, and Jo Mersa Marley)” is now available on all digital platforms worldwide. All proceeds from the track and music video will benefit the Bob Marley Foundation initiative Marley For Education.

To date, Marley For Education has provided tablets, textbooks, tuition, and school uniforms to approximately 2,000 students, aged 3-17, from underserved communities in Jamaica. The Survival 76 Cypher is the brainchild of Tuff Gong International CEO Cedella Marley who wanted to send a strong musical message that speaks to the times. Featured artists Skip Marley, Tifa, Agent Sasco, Tanya Stephens, Kabaka Pyramid and Jo Mersa Marley amplify and expand upon Bob Marley’s theme of defiance, hope, and perseverance over a new dub-style track (produced by ZJ Sparks and Loud City).

The original “Survival” served as the title track to Marley’s legendary 11th studio album, which called for unity among African nations. For more about Marley For Education please click here to visit the Bob Marley Foundation
