A few entertainers who have gotten themselves in hot water with the law will be hauled before the court this month for charges ranging from drug to gun possession.
Reggae singer George Nooks will be brought before the court this Thursday, March 4, when charges for possession of cocaine and attempting to pervert the course of justice is set for mention.
Dancehall deejay, Rytikal, is also slated to appear before the court on March 4, but for a separate matter.
The East Syde Deejay, who has been in police custody since January 28, is facing charges of illegal possession of firearm and ammunition. Rytikal’s legal team is expected to make an application for bail on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Dancehall deejay Tommy Lee Sparta, who is facing gun and ammunition charges in a separate matter, will next appear in the court on March 24.
Tommy Lee Sparta was arrested on December 14, 2020, by members of the JCF’s Specialized Operations Unit, after a 9mm pistol containing 18 rounds of ammunition was allegedly found in his waistband during a traffic stop.
Vybz Kartel, Sean Storm, Ninja Man, Zebra, Flippa Moggela, and Laden are some entertainers currently serving time behind bars.
