Dancehall artiste Ryan ‘Rytikal’ McFarlane, who is on gun charges, has been mandated by the Gun Court not to leave his St Thomas home before 6 a.m. and must be inside by 6 p.m. daily as part of his condition for bail.
The curfew order was imposed yesterday by Justice Courtney Day as the 25-year-old entertainer, who is facing illegal possession of firearm and ammunition charges, was granted $1 million bail.
Rytikal was also ordered to surrender his travel documents with a stop order in place at all ports and is to report at the Bull Bay Police Station twice per week.
He is to return to court for trial on April 28.
According to police reports, on January 28, police were on patrol in Eight Miles, Bull Bay, St Andrew, when McFarlane was reportedly seen acting in a suspicious manner.
Police reportedly questioned the artiste and following a search of his car, a Taurus .380 pistol with 12 rounds of ammunition were found.
Rytikal, who reportedly told the police that the weapon was a prop for a music video, was taken into custody and later charged.
He is known for the singles such as Cookie Jar and King Inna War.
