In celebration of Caribbean Heritage Month, Skip Marley and Hood Celebrityy are the faces of Reggae and Dancehall on Pandora’s specially curated station dubbed, ‘One Caribbean’.
The popular music streaming service revealed the station on Friday with a Billboard highlighting Skip Marley, Hood Celebrityy and Trinidadian soca star Machel Montano in Times Square, New York.
“I use to pray for times like this so I had to grind like that to shine like this….” shared Hood Celebrityy on her official Instagram account, under a photograph of the Times Square billboard.
For his celebration Skip Marley wrote “Blessed to be a part of One Caribbean on @pandora celebrate #CaribbeanHeritageMonth an our diverse culture, music and heritage.”
According to Pandora, “One Caribbean is a listening experience that aims to capture the beautiful culture and musical richness of the region. Reggae, dancehall, soca, calypso and so much more all in one place.”
Caribbean Heritage Month, celebrated throughout the month of June promotes the rich culture and heritage of Caribbean American people and their contributions to the United States.
