News leaked to the WIRE News Agency that veteran Jamaican radio DJ Ron Muschette, of Mello FM in Montego Bay has reportedly inked a blockbuster deal with the Caribbean Global Network (CGN) Group of the Islands to be included among the growing roster of talent for the Group’s Jamaican expansion via the launch of a new station called The Bridge 99FM.
99FM, formerly owned by the RJR group is poised to help to build stronger ties between Jamaica and the Jamaican Diaspora in the New York tri-state area. The move to The Bridge by the veteran radio host will reportedly cause the biggest shuffle of radio talent in the history of Jamaica’s media, as other prominent names are being targeted. The question now being asked is which other broadcaster will move to the Bridge when the dust is settled.
Efforts to reach CGN boss Bobby Clarke at his head office in New York to confirm the details proved unsuccessful. This is a developing story so stay turned to this network for more breaking news.
