Same Whine is the latest song from veteran artistes Little Lenny and Little Kirk. According to the former, the single is their reintroduction to the dancehall space.

“The youths who are supporting dancehall music today don’t know who we are, they hear our hits from the past, but they don’t even know our names. So hopefully, this song will help to broaden our fan base to include this new generation of dancehall fans,” said Little Lenny.

Produced by Jamaican-born, British-based producer Lorna Da’Angel, Same Whine was released in May on the Miles Ahead label. A complementary video was also released in May.

Little Kirk has high expectations for the single.

“I’m getting positive feedback about this new single. I think with the right promotion, it will be a hit. We just have to keep promoting it so it will penetrate the minds of music lovers all over the world,” he said.

Both Little Kirk and Little Lenny are former members of the now-defunct Shocking Vibes Crew, which also included Beenie Man, Tanto Metro and Devonte, Snagga Puss, and General B. Dennis Brown, Buju Banton, Lt Stichie, Tiger, Mad Cobra, Capleton, Buccaneer, Sanchez, Wayne Wonder, Richie Stephens, Jack Radics, Lady Saw and Ghost also did songs for the label.
