Many men have been played by a beautiful woman, whose features sometimes mask a devious personality. On Pretty Face, singer Bunny Qawi takes these femme fatales to task.
The self-produced single was released in May on his Music House label.

Qawi says Pretty Face is not based on personal experience but he knows men who have been tricked by attractive women.
“It’s more spiritual than personal. What I’m trying to tell people is, it’s not all that glitters is gold,” said Qawi. “Don’t let a pretty face fool yuh.”
Pretty Looks marks a return to recording for Qawi, who initially made his name as music producer Bunny Gemini. Three years ago, he made his vocal debut with the album, So Dem Plan.

He has kept busy in recent months recording and writing songs. He hopes to release others such as Nobody Knows The Trouble I Feel and When The Right Time Come before year-end.
Qawi entered the music business in 1977 as a producer. His first production was My Father’s Land, a song by someone else new to the game — a deejay named Eek-A-Mouse.
In ensuing years as his Record Factory label established itself, he produced songs and albums by top artists such as Dennis Brown and Gregory Isaacs.
