The Early Warm Riddim, second compilation album from London-based producer Zige Dub, was released on August 6 by his company of the same name.

Isha Blender

It has 11 songs, several of which are by Nigerian and Jamaican artists.

Among the Jamaican acts are singer Isha Blender, the South Florida-based daughter of roots artist Everton Blender; and Taffari.

Blender’s song is Kryptonite Love while Taffari, who lives in Jamaica, does Good Good Lovin’. Another Jamaican act on the set is Publik Report who does Judge me in Reality.

Daddy West

Most of the acts on the Early Warm are from Nigeria. They include Daddy West, whose song is Queen of Glam, Jah Device who does Trying to Survive, and Oge Kimono, whose song is Nana.

Jah Device

Interestingly, Jah Device has recording ties to Jamaica. He collaborated with singer Natty King on the 2019 EP, Ray of Light.

Sahmir

Shamir, a Kenyan artist, contributes Dive In to the Early Warm Riddim.

Oge Kimono

This is the second compilation album from Zige Dub, who specializes in a blend of reggae and African sounds. The producer/company debuted in 2017 with the You Should Have Known Riddim.
