4-M Records, a subsidiary of 4-M International Productions, releases new version of The Gladiators’ reggae classic “Hello Carol” featuring dub poet and DJ Malachi and recording artist Hal Reggaeman Anthony.

The idea of the single came about after Hal Reggaeman Anthony, who is now a touring member of The Tennors, released an album of The Gladiators songs. Smith played Hello Carol on his weekly radio show, Strictly Roots dub poetry and more, fell in love with it, called Hal Anthony and the collaboration began.

This new Hello Carol incorporates the original song with the anguish, angst, anxieties, separation, isolation and suffering of the present COVID-19 Pandemic.
