Don G is one of many artists frustrated with the lockdowns caused by the Coronavirus. So, whenever a show comes along he grabs the opportunity to perform with both hands.
The singer did his thing on closing day of the Bomboclat Festival which took place in Zeebrugge, Belgium from August 20-21.

“It was my manager Bobo Omar of OneTree Records who got the link to the promoter of the festival and that’s how I got booked. My set was originally for 15 minutes, however due to time limits I only did 10 minutes on tracks on Jam-African Sound System,” said Don G.
Though his time on stage was short, he made use of it to highlight Heart’s Desire, his latest song which is produced by Wizzard House Recordz.

Don G and Wally Nesta, founder of the Bomboclat Festival.

“It’s more like a crossover type energy. Romantic, exotic and raunchy. My previous release We Need A Change was more of a social commentary, but this new song was just showing my versatility as a songwriter,” said Don G.
We Need A Change was released in 2018 by OneTree Records, just over one year after Don G moved to Luxembourg where he is part of a small reggae community.

From St. Catherine parish in Jamaica, he has been recording since 2007. Since moving to Europe, he has performed on shows in France, Belgium and Germany.
Reap What You Sow, Don G’s four-song EP which is also a OneTree Records project, was released in 2016.
