Neo-gospel artists usually have a tougher job than their pop counterparts. While keeping one eye on their traditional market, the other is focused on breaking into the secular field.
Singer Sone G knows that feeling all too well, but says whenever he writes a song, he thinks about appealing to as wide an audience as possible.
That’s what he went for on Spirit A Move, his latest song.

“Most definitely, especially in this time we are living in, the message of hope is critical. Everybody needs to hear and know,” said Sone G. “Being a versatile artist is the only way to ensure your message isn’t looked over.”
Spirit A Move is inspired by the power of spirituality, especially when persons evolve from living in the ‘world’ to accepting the Word.
It is a feeling many Christians including Sone G, can relate to.
“The message (of Spirit A Move) is simple. When God starts to move in your life yuh can’t really understand it. To the point where good things start to happen unexpectedly, it’s hard to fathom,” he said.
