In challenging times, many persons seek divine intervention. Singer Kongquez Golden, however, revels in prayer no matter the situation.
The Grenada-born artist, who lives in London, gives thanks to the Most High on Wonderful Feeling, his latest song.
“I always put God first. The Almighty is always by my side so I have to give Him thanks,” said Kongquez Golden.
Wonderful Feeling is his second spiritual song for 2021. Such A Mighty God, a gospel/dancehall track featuring Elephant Man, was released in February.
That set the pace for Every Pain, aAfrobeats/dancehall track that oozed sensuality. Having been raised in the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Kongquez Golden has never forgotten his gospel roots. Even as he tries to make it in the secular world.
He would not mind emulating another artist who has done well in both gospel and secular arenas.
“Sanchez is a singer I admire. He shows that people will listen to your music once it’s positive,” said Kongquez Golden.
