The Early Warm Riddim 2022 Vol 2, follow-up to the Early Warm Riddim which came out last summer, is scheduled for release digitally on January 14 by ZigeDub Productions.
It contains eight songs by artistes from Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago and the United Kingdom.
“After the release of the Early Warm Riddim compilation in August 2021, there was a huge demand from fans of the ‘riddim’ from different regions for a volume two,” read a release from ZigeDub Productions.
The latest edition of the ‘Early Warm’ contains Always There For You, a lovers rock jam by Ray Darwin, the Portland-born, Germany-based singer best known for the 2011 hit, Peoples Choice.
Veteran singer/musician, Bryan Art, does Working so Hard while Trinidadian Jamelody contributes Moving it On. Heaven is the song by Tenna Star, a UK-based vocalist.
‘Early Warm 2022’ is the third compilation album from ZigeDub Productions, an independent company based in the UK. It debuted in 2017 with the You Should Have Known Riddim.
Most of the artistes affiliated to ZigeDub Productions, including Peter Spence, Shamir, Rafeelya and Jah Device have Jamaican and African heritage.
The initial Early Warm album was released on August 6 and has 11 songs, mainly by Nigerian and Jamaican artistes including Isha Blender, daughter of roots singer Everton Blender.
