Dave Revels

American-based singing sensation Dave Revels has just released a honest tune titled A Good Jamaican Woman. The melodious reggae-fused song – published on December 31, 2021 – is a collaboration done with talented reggae / hip-hop artist Junior Rex.

As the producer, Revels brought his decades of musical experience and creative skills to the production. They were then complimented by co-producer Ed Robinson, who helped to reimagine the song, adding some magical flair to its overall sound and feel. Persons who have heard the record summarizes it as a forthright tune from a man showing loyalty and respect to his lineage by desiring to have a woman from that same line.

Dave Revels explains the inspiration behind A Good Jamaican Woman in the following statement: “I have always identified with my roots, and an influential part of that connect to my mother being a Jamaican. This song resonates with much of what I hold dear—my mom, my Jamaican relatives, the love of the Island, and the fact that I grew up there. To me, this is one of the best songs I have done, and it’s a legacy I will forever cherish.”
