Bushman pours out his heart…
Reggae artiste Bushman pours his heart out in a high-energy track that focuses on the challenges of being in a long-distance relationship.
The single, Next To Me, is produced by Big Feet Records. It was released on January 21.
“This song focuses on the difficulties of being in a long-distance relationship and just wanting the person you love to be right there next to you. I know a lot of lovers can relate to this one,” Bushman said.
In the song, Bushman makes it clear to his lady love that he is tired of this long-distance relationship.
” It’s getting to my head,” he sings. “I ‘m tired of face time and video talking.”
Stating that he is tired of “making love over the phone”, the Arms Of A Woman singer wishes aloud that his lady love would come back home.
Already receiving rave reviews since its release, it’s safe to say the first collaboration with the label was a successful one.
“Working with the label was beautiful, they sent me a riddim but the song that I had in mind didn’t work with the riddim, so they sent me a different one and it was magic,” Bushman said.
Through the label’s music consultant Fitzroy Francis, who the artiste has known for many years, the connection was made and the rest is history.
“I just want to thank Fitzroy Francis for making this connection with Bushman. It is a tremendous project and we are looking forward to doing more great works with him,” label CEO and producer Josh Harris expressed.
