After finishing runner-up in the popular Magnum Kings And Queens talent contest in Jamaica five years ago, Vanzo was determined not to fade away once the cheers died down.
He has maintained a steady recording schedule that continued in January with the release of Rumors, a song the singer did for French company Street Machine Productions.

Driven by the music of Gregory Isaacs’ song of the same name, Rumors is his second single for that label. The first, In The Street, was released last year; both songs are expected to be on an album Vanzo is recording for Street Machine Productions.

While he has kept busy since his promising showing on ‘Magnum’, working with a European company presents several promising possibilities for the artist who is in his 20s.
“I have more opportunities with my songs being played on radio stations overseas and that means more exposure. I expect good things,” said Vanzo.

From Sligoville, the first free village in Jamaica, Vanzo began recording one year before entering the Magnum Kings And Queens show. After working for a short period in the sugar industry, he turned to music full-time.
His recent songs are not limited to Street Machine Productions. Relationship Goals and Mi Good were produced by Arif Cooper, son of keyboardist Ibo Cooper, co-founder of the Third World band.
