Being independent and resourceful is the message behind No Beggy Beggy, the new song from Teflon, produced by Worl Blast Music. Released in late March, it encourages the unemployed to get off the fence and contribute meaningfully to society
It is the Rastafarian singjay’s second song for the South Florida -based label. The first was Hot from Mawnin. “The concept of this song is to motivate people to work for what they want and we’re hoping this could be Teflon’s next big hit,” said Andrew Powell, head of Worl Blast Music.
While it is the first production for the label in 2022, No Beggy Beggy continues a busy recording itinerary for Teflon, who announced his career 17 years ago with the song, Gun Rise. In February, his EP, Acknowledge Me or Not, Love Me for Me, was released on Teflon’s Yaad A Love Records. A previous EP, So Determine, came out in 2018. Last year saw the release of Teflon’s 19-song album, Years A Pain.
