About Steele:

Steele was born Jamaica, but resides in Toronto, Canada for the last 12 years, he attended Herbert Morrison Comprehensive High School. This is where his interest in music began to blossom and before long he became a member of his school reggae band The Mystic Force.

While reggae is his first love, Steele is comfortable with any genre of music and it would not be strange to hear him belt out a song from one of his favourite artist Lionel Richie or the group Air Supply.

His inspiration comes from his parents who sang in a church choir. Steele’s first taste of success came with his recording of Stevie Wonder’s “Ribbon In The Sky,” produced by veteran singer and producer Tristan Palma.  That was Steele’s break-through song, and he has not slowed down since. Other songs to hit the local charts includes “Another Confrontation” on the Chi Chi Bud Riddim produced by the late great Lloyd Campbell.
