SHENSEEA has inked a global publishing deal with S10 Publishing, in partnership with Avex USA.
The entity was founded by Brandon Silverstein, who manages American singer/dancer Normani and Brazilian singer Anitta.
This is an additional partnership for the Trending Gyal singer who is signed to a record deal with Rvssian’s Rich Immigrants in partnership with Interscope Records, as well as a management deal with We Good in partnership with Wassim “Sal” Slaiby’s SALXCO.
In an interview with Billboard, Shenseea, whose given name is Chinsea Lee, said the latest deal was a step in the right direction for the growth of her career.
“Brandon and his team understand my vision and share my hunger to make it happen, and that’s the most important thing. I’m excited to work with S10 and Avex to bring my career and team to a whole new level,” she said.
Meanwhile, the S10 Entertainment CEO said he is looking forward to the partnership with Shenseea.

“Shenseea is an incredible artiste whose writing ability and freestyling is unparalleled. In writing sessions and in the studio she’s a dream collaborator because she’s having so much fun that it’s contagious! She first charmed her home of Jamaica before breaking into the US market and now there’s no doubt that she’s going to break globally next,” he told Billboard.
Naoki Osada and Lucas Thomashow, president and senior VP of Avex USA, respectively, are equally pleased with the new agreement. They noted that it will help the entertainer to expand her international audience.
“When we heard Shenseea’s music for the first time, instantly we realized she was something really special — a once in a lifetime talent,” they added.
Shenseea’s debut album ALPHA was released on March 11 via Rich Immigrants/Interscope Records. It has 14 songs, including collaborations with dancehall veterans Beenie Man and Sean Paul, and American rappers Megan Thee Stallion, Offset, 21 Savage and Tyga.
Among the producers are her longtime manager Romeich Major (Shen Ex Anthem) and Slyda and DJ Black Boi (Egocentric). Tarik “Rvssian” Johnston — who has been making a name within the Latin music circles — is credited for producing the remaining tracks on the album.
