From Maria Jackson Magazine—

The brand new single from Trench Town recording artist Hugh English is official out. Produced by Big Feet Records and distributed by VPal Music, Evil Con Evil is a steady one-drop reggae tune that laments on the wrongful and immoral actions taken by some.

English wrote the song while the pandemic was at its peak in 2020. He said he felt led to pen the words after seeing so many wicked things happening in the world. Persons who are familiar with Hugh English will know that he likes to create songs that are based in reality; as is the case with Evil Con Evil.

For this one, producer Josh Harris (the CEO of Big Feet Records) reached out to Claude Richards for keys (keyboard), JoWayne Campbell for guitar, Santa Davis for drums and Torch – another roots reggae artist – for harmonies.

This is the second collaboration between Big Feet Records and Hugh English. The first was Youth Inna Street, published in July, 2021. Based on the success of that record, both Harris and English are anticipating great things from this new release.
