At 18, singjay Jaesinco is the youngest act on Reggae Sumfest which takes place from July 17-23 in Montego Bay. She is slated to perform on the penultimate night which features several heavy hitters such as Shenseaa, Spice and Aidonia.
Just days away from graduating high school, she is excited about making her debut on Jamaica’s biggest music show.

“It is a blessing and an honor to be performing at Reggae Sumfest. This is a big change in my career and I am truly grateful. The past year has been phenomenal in both school and my music. I have done work with some amazing artists and producers,” said Jaesinco. “My stage presence has also improved from different experiences with different crowds. After each performance it gets easier and more fun.”
She heads into the event with a new song, Jah Will Provide, which is produced by Horatio Rowe who has guided her year-old career. Rowe also produced Slowly and It’s A Blessing, Jaesinco’s first songs.

Although looking forward to further development as an artist, she knows any number can play in the unpredictable music business.
“Thankfully, I was able to comfortably manage both school and music with the help of my manager and others. I consider myself as an all rounder, therefore I do not limit myself to one career path,” said Jaesinco.
