AHEAD of Valentine’s Day on February 14, singer Natty King is sharing his emotions on Empress You Are Mine.
The song, released late last month, is produced by Conroy Smith and is featured on Love Star Music’s Reggae’s Still Alive rhythm.
“The fans have been saying that they are pleasantly surprised to hear me singing a love song — I guess it’s because I am known for singing songs that deal with social issues — however, I am a very versatile artiste. Throughout my career I’ve always done songs for the ladies, and I will continue to do so,” said Natty King.
Hailing from St Thomas, Natty King shot to stardom in 2003 with the hit No Guns to Town. He later followed up with another hit, Mr Greedy.
Natty King, who started his own label, Wellowell, a few years ago, is gearing up to release the various artistes project, the Talent rhythm. The 14-track project that features songs from artistes including Turbulence, Ginjah, U-Brown, Lutan Fyah, Chezidek, Warrior King, and Mr Peppa, was released on February 10.
“I have an awesome line-up of songs on this wonderful rhythm track. I’m anticipating a warm reception to this project from reggae music lovers all over the world when it’s released,” said Natty King.
Natty King is preparing to hit the road this summer in Europe and will perform at several festivals including Reggae Jam in Germany, and the One Love Festival and Hill Vibes Festival in Austria.
His fourth studio album Rebellution was released a year ago.
