Beres Hammond, the Lover’s Rock icon, has remixed his single “I Need Your Love.” The remix welcomes his long-time collaborator and friend Buju Banton to the track “We Need Your Love.”
Produced and arranged by Beres Hammond and “Crucial” Tony Phillips of Ruff Cut Productions, the song features contributions from saxophonist Dean Fraser O.D., bassist Kenton Brown, drummer Trevor Fagan, trumpeter O’neil Macintyre, and keyboardist Carlton “Bubbler” Ogilvie. Crucial Tony also played guitar on the track.
The new release adds to the growing list of collaborations between Buju Banton and Beres Hammond, which includes hits such as “A Little More Time,” “Who Say,” and “Pull Up The Vibes,” among others.
“We Need Your Love” will be available on all streaming platforms on April 14.
