American reggae band Rebelution re-enters the Billboard Reggae Albums chart with two of its previous chart-toppers.
First, 2014’s Count Me In is at #9, while 2016’s Grammy-nominated Falling Into Place jumps back onto the chart at #10.
Count Me In features collaborations with Jamaican reggae singer and former Black Uhuru member Don Carlos and Bermudan reggae artiste Collie Buddz. The album sold over 17,000 copies in its first week of release and it has to date sold in excess of 30,000 units.
Count Me In peaked at #14 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart.
The Grammy-nominated Falling Into Place features Protoje on the track Inhale, Exhale. The album opened with 14,000 copies in its first week to peak at #32 on the Billboard 200.
It has to date sold in excess of 43,000 copies.
Bob Marley and the Wailers log another week at the top spot with Legend clocking 175 non-consecutive weeks in pole position.
Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection by Shaggy is still holding down the bridesmaid position at #2, while Sean Paul’s Dutty Classics Collection, which has been certified gold in the United Kingdom, is at #3.
Greatest Hits by UB40 which was released in 2008, is at #4r. The 21-track hits compilation features covers of Eric Donaldson’s Cherry Oh Baby, Come Back Darling by Johnny Osborne, among others.
Stick Figure continues its dominance of the chart with three entries. Wisdom is at #5, World on Fire is at #6, and Set in Stone holds steady #7.
Backyard Sessions: Malibu Edition by Iration is firm at #8.
Over to the South Florida Reggae chart, Don’t Let Me Go by Etana is the new #1 song. Intervention by Lady Tia debuts at #25, while I’m Doing Better by Minister Marion Hall steps in at #24.
On the New York Reggae chart, Never Too Much by Jango Thriller is a new entry at #30, while Driver by Romain Virgo steps up from #12 to #9.
Black is the Colour by Robert Ffrench is #1 for a second week.
Single Girl Blues by Blk Orchid and Empress Divine spends a second week at #1 on the Rebel Vibez Top Ten Canadian Reggae chart.
