When singer Jango Thriller decided to revive his music career last year, he wanted to record songs that drew couples to the dancefloor or simply just rock to the beat.
That amorous sound can be heard on Rejuvenate, his album which was released last October. It contains Never Too Much, a old school lovers jam.

“Its intent is to show love’s unlimited boundaries. The concept for Rejuvenate, which is a compilation of mostly love songs, was to create songs for the demographics who appreciate love and its desires,” Jango Thriller explained.
That concept has impressed some fans, as Never Too Much has made the Foundation Radio Network Top 30 Reggae Chart. The uptempo track is currently number No.27 on that table.

However, the Kingston-born artist insists he is no one trick pony.
“Although I love singing lovers rock, my choice of songs also ranges from dancehall, culture and reality songs,” he said. Jango Thriller began his recording career in the early 1980s. His first song, Yuh Nuh Wrong, was produced by Computer Paul. Other singles for different producers followed including Fade Away, a collaboration with Sleepy and It Could Not Happen, done with Vandal.

The New York-based Jango Thriller’s passion for ballads can be traced to his childhood. His heroes included Sam Cooke, Otis Redding and The Temptations, all of whom made their names performing seductive songs.
For Rejuvenate, Jango Thriller worked with producer Ainsworth “Bassie” Clarke from Harmony Tree Production.
