Claudette Kemp, the longtime manager of dancehall artiste Capleton, has died.

OBSERVER ONLINE understands that Kemp died Friday after ailing for sometime.

Kemp managed the ‘Fireman’ Capleton for more than 22 years, and was one of the few female managers in the local entertainment fraternity.

Prior to managing Capleton, Kemp managed singer Beres Hammond for 11 years.

In 2019, she was awarded the Queen of Reggae Island Honorary Award for her contribution to music.
