Honorebel

Honorebel hopes to score with On Top of The World this summer.

Released in May, he co-produced the uptempo track with Sven Ludholm.

The singjay, who wrote On Top Of The World, told the Jamaica Observer that its video has been serviced to major platforms.

On Top Of The World‘s music video premiered on [popular South Florida television show] Deco Drive in front of over three million people. Next the video will be broadcast on MTV, BET, Tempo, Stingray, and over 800 other TV and department stores nationwide, Europe, Africa and the Caribbean,” he said.

The South Florida-based artiste knows a thing or two about shopping a song. In 2010 he had a strong seller with Now You See It (Shake That Ass) with Pitbull and Jump Smokers, which made multiple Billboard dance charts.

Other songs by Honorebel have done well in Africa and Europe, where he has toured.

He plans to do shows in the Motherland to promote On Top Of The World and his album, scheduled for release late this year.

It will be the follow-up to Guru, his previous effort which was released in 2021.

That album, a mix of pop and reggae, contains a cover of Beres Hammond’s If Only I Knew, done with Big Mountain.

The St Andrew-born artiste (real name Richard Bailey) has made a name in South Florida music circles by showing his versatility as a dancehall, reggae, and hip hop artiste.

While not giving a release date for the upcoming set, he said: “You can expect nothing but greatness.”
