The song is produced by Phillip “Winta” James with whom Samory I has been recording for almost two years. He enjoyed making Wrath with experienced campaigners.
“It was amazing, it mek mi guh harder. Is a great thing working with professional artists,” said Samory I.
Wrath is his fourth song with James, a talented keyboardist whose hit productions include Who Knows by Chronixx and Protoje, and Modern Day Judas by Jesse Royal.
Crown, Love And Mercy and Blood in The Streets are previous songs their tandem has produced.
Previously, Samory I recorded songs for European producers as well as Rory “RoryStoneLove” Gilligan. The latter produced RoryStoneLove Presents Samory I — Black Gold, a 2017 joint album that was well-received in Europe.
That set contains the hit songs Rasta Nuh Gangsta and a cover of Syl Johnson’s Is It Because I’m Black.
