In today’s sampler pack from Reggae Anthology:  Redman International We Run Things, we offer 6 songs from artists including Admiral Tibet, Conroy Smith, Frankie Paul, Flourgon, Carl Meeks, Gregory Isaacs, Puddy Roots, and Dave Bailey.

This cross-section of music gives a full sonic picture of venerated producer Hugh ‘Redman’ James production which many have classified as heavyweight pieces of digital Rub-A-Dub.

The first single from the project was Gregory Isaac’s “Chisholm Avenue,” the cautionary tale about a police raid on a street dance in Whitfield Town, Kingston.  The album continues with cuts that will have fans moving from beat to beat as we hear crucial selections of 80’s digital Reggae and Dancehall.
