At the end of October, longtime Guyanese recording artist Winston Irie released a gripping reggae tune called Orthodoxy. Using a singing style indicative of Jamaican roots music from the seventies, Irie laments on his frustration with life in the West, or as he calls it, Rome.
Confident of its potential, Winston Irie and his team have been pushing the record incessantly, and are now elated to learn that it has entered a significant music chart. Specifically, Orthodoxy was recently added to The Foundation Radio Network New York Charts and is now sitting in the #26 spot.
The singer and his Selective Security Band are on the road promoting this and other songs from his catalog.
