It has been said that ‘all songs sound better on a reggae rhythm’. Taddy P‘s remix of James Ingram’s She Loves Me (The Best That I Can Be), is a testament to that fact. Performed by singer-songwriter Richie Stephens, the reggae remix, which was officially released on March 29th, is now available on all streaming platforms.

Taddy P‘s years of experience in the industry has given him access to some of the finest musicians in the business. As such, he was able to invite Wayne ‘Unga Barunga’ Thompson to play the drums, and Robert ‘Ricky Dread’ Stephens to add the keyboards. And being a highly respected and accomplished instrumentalist himself, Taddy P not only played the bass, but he also did the lead bass, and guitar and even added supplementary keyboard lines.

When asked what he would like listeners to take away from the record, the man affectionately referred to as Bassy said the following: “I would love the song to evoke an amazing feeling of love while enjoying the infectious reggae beat with enchanting  melodies and harmonies.”
