After his maiden overseas performance in Sao Paulo, Brazil at the Java Showcase, Di Namic is looking forward to his next assignment outside the United States.
For that gig, the singer will rub shoulders with several established reggae artists. He is one of the acts billed for ‘Wonderful Vibrations’, a Mother’s Day extravaganza from May 10-12 in Ontario, Canada.
“Performing in Brazil was a breath of fresh air, it was so captivating to see people that don’t speak much English but they could relate to every song that I sang, even though they had never heard many of them before. I have people coming up to me after my performance telling me that my songs are like gospel, very spiritually enlightening, and they wish I would go on and on and on because they couldn’t get enough of what they heard,” said Di Namic.
He heads into the Wonderful Vibrations shows with Trample The Beast and Hungry Song, his first released songs, under his belt. Murray Man produces them out of the United Kingdom.
Glen Washington, Sizzla, Luciano, Thriller U, Lieutenant Stitchie, Natty King and Norris Man are some of the acts scheduled for Wonderful Vibrations, which takes place in Toronto, Pickering, and North York.
Before his gig in Brazil, Di Namic cut his teeth at live events in New England and South Florida. After finally recording his first songs, he is looking forward to more studio work.
“Most definitely, knowing who I am and my mission to this musical journey is not about self-exhortation or merely financial gain, but a high calling of delivering a message that is much needed in these times. Therefore, that makes me hungry for more recording opportunities,” he said.
