Reggae Sumfest organizers continue to boost their lineup for this summer’s highly-anticipated festival by adding reggae sensation, YG Marley.

The next generation of Marley talent is set to ignite the stage on Festival Night One on Friday, July 19. He is the latest act to be added to an already star-studded lineup, including Aidonia, Teejay, Valiant, Jada Kingdom, 450, Malie Donn, Kraff, Munga, Pablo YG, and more.

YG Marley’s recent success has seen him soar to the top of the music industry making him one of the hottest young acts to gain their international breakthrough this year. So far, the fast-rising reggae phenom has not only managed to make his Coachella debut but has also enjoyed global success courtesy of his hit single, ‘Praise Jah in the Moonlight. The track has enjoyed immense chart success since its release, peaking at No. 34 on the Billboard Hot 100, No. 20 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100, No. 5 on the UK Singles Chart, No. 1 on the Billboard New Zealand Songs Chart, and No. 11 on the Billboard Global 200.

YG Marley is the son of legendary singer Lauryn Hill and Rohan Marley, son of reggae icon, Bob Marley.

Other entertainers also confirmed for this year’s staging of Reggae Sumfest include RnB crooner Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, Beresford Hammond, Capleton, Anthony B, D’Yani, Turbulence, Nigy Boy and many more.

Reggae Sumfest is slated to run from July 14 to 20, at its usual home in Catherine Hall, Montego Bay.
