Terry Linen

After a 10-year absence reggae artiste Terry Linen is set to return to New York City in July.

The “golden voice” singer who shot to fame in the late 90s with a cover version of Whitney Houston’s, Your Love Is My Love, is the headline act for Pastor Sheldon Evans’ Gospel Cruise.

The event is scheduled to take place on-board the Liberty Belle cruise ship, which will be docked at the Brooklyn Army Terminal on July 7.

“The first time I performed in the US I was on a tour with Sanchez, promoting my début album titled Terry Linen in 2000. Since then, I’ve performed all over the states. Everywhere I’ve been I’ve always received a warm reception, but there’s something magical about performing in New York,” he said.

“I’m looking forward to this event, I can’t wait to reconnect with my fan base in New York and I am sure some new fans will be added to the list after this upcoming performance,” he said.

He is currently enjoying much attention with songs such as God Is My Weakness, Money Games, Goodness of God, No Longer A Slave, and  Just Say Yes.

“I plan to deliver a healing performance for my fans in New York, they’ve been waiting for a very long time to see me. I’m going to make up for my absence by giving them something to treasure for a lifetime. My music is not just reggae music, it’s healing music, and I’m going deliver the healing when I touch the stage on the Liberty Belle in New York on July 7.”
