Legendary music producer Clive Hunt has released yet another new single under his Iconic Azul company. The new song My Heart Cries, sung by international reggae artiste Lutan Fyah, is now streaming on all major platforms.
The track was released September 6, 2024 under the record label Ineffable Records.
As Lutan Fyah explains, “This song is a feeling I get from seeing what’s happening today in the world, where people are not sure whether they are going backward or forward.”
Reflecting on his experience working with the iconic producer, he shared: “I grew up in this music business hearing about the Right Honorable Clive Hunt. I thought it was just Jamaican hype-up talk, then I read about him. When I met this man it felt like I met a musical father figure who can guide my sound and creativity. Years after, we decided to create this song, and he liked it, so we moved forward from there.”
My Heart Cries is the second single on the Nyabinghi Love rhythm, which features a variety of top-tier reggae artistes. To date, the rhythm created by Clive and several of his friends in the business also features Maxi Priest, with other prominent names to be added soon.
Lutan Fyah’s music consistently resonates with listeners by capturing the realities of everyday life. As he stated: “I always try to make music that resonates with people and their day-to-day life, and I expect the ones who listen to Lutan Fyah to appreciate this song as they normally do. Give thanks.”
