Reggae icon Jimmy Cliff’s timeless hit You Can Get It If You Really Want has been officially certified Silver in the United Kingdom by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI).
The award, announced on Friday, November 29, recognizes over 200,000 units sold in the UK, according to data from The Official Charts Company.
This marks Cliff’s second track to achieve Silver certification in the UK, following the milestone reached by his classic I Can See Clearly Now just last month.
Originally released in July 1970, You Can Get It If You Really Want is celebrated as one of the most influential reggae songs of all time.
