Kelly Shane is the latest to take a crack at the timeless ballad.
Her Nyahbinghi version, produced by Tad Dawkins Jr, was released on March 7 by Tad’s International Record.

When Kelly Shane and Dawkins Jr linked he decided to go for a different feel from London’s soulful take or the rub-a-dub direction of Mr. Vegas. The Nyahbinghi rhythm suited her.
Kelly Shane was inspired by her mother to pursue a music career. She began recording four years ago and has released songs such as Ain’t That Loving You (with Busy Signal) and Temptation. But after four years as an artiste she admits she is still finding her feet.
“I’m still not sure about my sound, though. Best way to describe it is experimental, and I mean that quite literally. I still rely on trial and error for my sound every time I record,” she shared.
