Jamaican music has been known for decades for its relaxing and entertaining elements, which offer a musical escape from reality. Grampa Entatain has become a staple in recent years with his comedic take on topic issues.
The single, JB Rum, is no different; mixed on the trendy Afro-beat rhythm, for the track Calm Down, and complimented by his ‘grampa voice’, Grampa Entatain takes us back in time. However, JB Rum is a track that can be played in any contemporary Dancehall party and ignite a nice bounce and a smile at the lyrical play on the impact of this spirited liquor. While offering comic relief in this track, Grampa Entertain does echo the need for drinking responsibly.
JB Rum is not the first single released by Tad’s Record for Grampa Entatain, however, it the first single for 2025 from his well anticipated album.
