MACKIE CONSCIOUS RELEASES HIS RENDITION OF THE ROCK CLASSIC “ALL I WANT TO DO IS MAKE LOVE TO YOU!”

Jamaica Recording artist Mackie Conscious has released his reggae rendition of the song “All I Wanna Do Is Make Love to You.” The singer is hoping to make this song  an international hit again, this time with a Jamaican flavor.The song was recorded in Montego Bay at the Conscious Music Works  Recording studio “All I Wanna Do Is Make Love to You” is a song by the rock band Heart. It was composed by veteran songwriter and producer Robert John “Mutt” Lange and released as the first single from the band’s tenth studio album, Brigade, as well as their first hit single of the 1990’s. CHUCK BERRY THE LEGENDARY “FATHER OF ROCK & ROLL” DIES AT 90!

Iconic musical artist Chuck Berry passed away Saturday in his St. Louis home, authorities have confirmed. He was 90 years old. St. Charles County police officers responded to a medical emergency report and found Berry unconscious around 12:40 p.m. Attempts were made to save the rocker’s life, but he was officially pronounced dead at 1:26 p.m. The legendary “Father of Rock n’ Roll” skyrocketed to fame in the 1950s. WORLD RENOWNED POET SIR DEREK WALCOTT, DIES AT 87!

 Sir Derek Walcott— CASTRIES, St Lucia (CMC) — The St Lucia-born Nobel Laureate, Sir Derek Walcott, died Friday after a prolonged illness. He was 87. Relatives, who were by his bedside, said Walcott, who won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1992, died at his home at 7:45 am (local time). No details of his illness have yet been disclosed. Derek Alton Walcott, KCSL OBE OCC was Professor of Poetry at the University of Essex from 2010 to 2013.  He was the second St Lucian to have won the Nobel Prize, following Sir Arthur Lewis, who won the award for economics in 1979.
