JONI SLEDGE, FOUNDING MEMBER OF SISTER SLEDGE OF “WE ARE FAMILY” FAME, DIES AT 60!

The singer passed away after being found unresponsive in her home —By Britni Danielle—- Singer Joni Sledge, founding member of the iconic musical group Sister Sledge, has passed away. According to a statement released by the group’s reps, Sledge was found unresponsive at her home in Phoenix, Arizona on March 10 and was later pronounced dead. She was 60. Teflon—  Reggae and dancehall artist Teflon has been on a crusade calling for the music to be cleaned up. The artist has released a single titled ‘Legacy’ in which he tackles the problems facing the music and the industry at large. “It’s time for us to take a stand to nurture the music. We have to stand on our feet and defend the music because a lot of persons benefit from music in general,” Teflon said. Legacy is produced by Yard A Love Records.
