LUCIANO TO BURY HIS SON, MENELIK, SUNDAY, APRIL 3!

 Reggae singer Luciano—- THE funeral for Menelik McClymont — son of singer Luciano — is scheduled for the Meadowvale Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Red Hills Road on April 3. Sonia Sterling, McClymont’s stepmother, confirmed the arrangements. She said he will be interred at Meadowrest Memorial Park in St Catherine. Sterling told the Jamaica Observer that Luciano is not coping well with the loss of his son.  “He has to be cancelling all his shows. Some promoters waan threaten to sue, but him caan perform. He’s not doing very good,” she said. The entertainment fraternity, however, has been very supportive. “A couple of artists pass through and offer dem condolences… Beres Hammond, Marcia Griffiths, Tony Rebel. It really make a difference. Sonia Sterling, Menelik’s stepmother, said the family will focus its attention on establishing a foundation to speak out against violence in a bid to keep his memory alive. LUCIANO POSTPONES UK TOUR IN LIGHT OF SON’S DEATH!

 Grammy nominated reggae artiste, Luciano announced to fans on Thursday that his United Kingdom (UK) tour has postponed. The artist regrets the decision but is unable to keep his commitment as a result of  the death of his son who was stabbed last week. “It is with deepest regret that we announce the postponement of Luciano’s UK tour. Even though Luciano initially, still wanted to fulfill the obligations of doing the tour, the tragic circumstances surrounding the death of his son has really affected him and so we are forced to postpone all shows until further notice,” a release from his management team stated.
