GOT MILK? MILK TRUCK OVERTURNS IN BOG WALK!

A Leyland truck transporting 520 cases of tinned milk from Bog Walk, St. Catherine to Kingston overturned this morning resulting in injuries to the driver.

The accident occurred in the vicinity of Trade Winds Citrus Limited on the Bog Walk main road around 6.15 a.m., after the truck fell into a hole in the road.

The driver, 58-year-old Upert Thompson, of Church Road who sustained injuries to his right foot also complained of chest pain.

He was taken to the Linstead Hospital for treatment.

Sergeant Sebert Nelson, the commanding officer of the Bog Walk Police Station told The Gleaner/Power 106 News Centre that their quick response averted any potential of looting.
