ROOTZ UNDERGROUND’S “REBELS IN THE GARDEN” CONCERT SERIES CONTINUES IN HOPE GARDENS!

REGGAE band Rootz Underground continues their series dubbed Rebels in the Garden at the Sunken Garden, Hope Gardens in St Andrew, next Saturday.

The concert series — now in its third instalment — will also feature reggae singer Half Pint and dancehall singjay Pinchers. Chronixx, The Zinc Fence Band, Lymie Murray, and Gabre Selassie from Rockers Sound Station are also scheduled to appear.

“The Rebels in the Garden concept is to bring live music and a party together in one setting. We want to bring togetherness to Jamaica through the music. In our world, there’s no uptown, downtown, rural or urban, just one Jamaica — together,” said Stephen ‘Stevie G’ Newland, lead singer of Rootz Underground.

Previous performances at Reggae in the Gardens include Toots and the Maytals, Louie Culture and The Mystic Revealers.
